Hi! My name is Pam Freudig, and I've been breeding beautiful show champion Samoyeds and beloved family companions under the O'Blako kennel name since 1997.
My first Samoyed experience was with my sister's neighbor's fluffy white dog that immediately caught my attention. It was love at first sight for the Samoyed breed and I've never had eyes for another breed since then.
O'Blako Samoyeds started in 1991 when I brought home Czar, my first Samoyed.
Pronounced as O-Bla-Ka, O'Blako means "White Clouds" in Russian.
Our first litter was born in 1997.
O'Blako Samoyeds is located in the Lehigh Valley area in southeastern Pennsylvania, USA.
O'Blako Samoyeds aims to preserve the Samoyed breed as it was originally found in the Siberian Arctic tundra when it was first discovered by Western explorers over a hundred years ago: a hardy, resilient, athletic, versatile, well-adapted, fit-for-function spitz-type working dog that is also stunningly beautiful and a joy to live with. To that end we make use of high-quality imported genetics in conjunction with our long-established multi-generation homebred bloodlines via carefully planned breeding combinations designed to produce the best of the best—gorgeous, healthy, sound dogs that conform to the breed standard and have the loveliest family-friendly temperaments you could imagine. We strive for quality over quantity and so we breed only a few litters per year, each raised with the utmost care and loving attention to ensure all puppies are healthy, well-socialized, and well-adjusted by the time they are old enough to go to their new homes.
We hope you will consider adding an O'Blako Samoyed to your family—it will be the best decision you've ever made!

Update 02/14/2026:
We have puppies! A litter of 8 puppies (5 boys and 3 girls) was born on Valentine's Day 2026 (02/14/2026). They will be ready to go to their new homes on April 11, 2026. If you are interested in a puppy, please fill out our application form at this link to be placed on our waitlist. |
All of our dogs are evaluated for conformation to the AKC Samoyed breed standard and must clear tests for hip dysplasia, eye problems, heart problems, PRA, RD/OSD, and FEH before being considered for use in our breeding program.
Making sure you bring home a healthy, happy, friendly puppy that you'll love for its entire long life is our top priority, and that starts with the responsible, objective evaluation of the parents to ensure they are suitable for breeding and compatible with each other. This means they must be healthy, clear of heritable disorders, stable-tempered, and structurally sound.
Before leaving our care, each puppy has been examined by a vet and given their first set of vaccines.
If you are interested in bringing home one of our puppies, we ask that you fill out our application form at this link so we can get to know you better and match you with the right puppy.
